Our approach begins with fostering a trusting relationship between the speech pathologist and the child.  We are committed to providing quality, research-driven therapy led by experienced and dedicated speech-language pathologists. Speech and language goals are developed collaboratively, ensuring the therapist, child, and parents work together to establish meaningful goals. We offer practical strategies to parents at the end of each session, ensuring that progress is made both in and out of therapy sessions.

Kathryn Lewis Wommack

Kathryn Lewis Wommack is passionate about improving speech and language skills in children. After receiving her undergraduate from the University of Texas at Austin, she pursued her graduate degree at the University of North Texas. Kathryn is currently a doctoral candidate at Northwestern University due to graduate in Summer 2025. 

Kathryn completed her fellowship year at Texas Children’s Hospital outpatient center and chose to begin her career in the school setting at Spring Branch ISD. Within the past 6 years she has witnessed the lack of both insurance approval as well as restrictive criteria for receiving speech therapy in the public school setting. She has loved bridging these gaps and building relationships with clients and their families in the setting of their choosing.  Her particular interests include stuttering and speech sound disorders. She enjoys spending weekends traveling and attending Longhorn football games with her family and beloved dog.

Kathryn received he undergraduate degree at the University of Texas where she majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minored in Business, additionally receiving a certificate in Children and Health from the UT Bridging Disciplines Program.

She received her Masters of Science at the University of North Texas in Speech Language Pathology. Kathryn’s clinical experience includes therapy with children, adolescents, and adults who stutter at UT’s Lang Stuttering Institute, assisting clients who have reading disorders at UNT’s graduate school clinic, and working with medically fragile children at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Currently, Kathryn works with a children and adolescents who present with a full range of speech and language disorders at an elementary and high school for Spring Branch ISD in Houston, Texas.
